Job Description:
We are seeking a Lead Pastor who has a passion for coming alongside people as they face the challenges of life. We are looking for a leader who is gifted and experienced, to provide vision and strategy to equip staff and volunteers who seek to impact our church and community with the gospel. We have God’s Word at its complete sufficiency, we expect Bible-based teaching to take us deeper into discipleship and service.
Position Qualifications:
-Prepare and deliver messages and lessons
-Be the primary administrator of the ordinances, but able to delegate
-Serve as primary moderator of annual church meetings
-Supervise the ministry of the associate pastor, secretary, treasurer, and those involved in the business office of the church. If need arises, he may be called to supervise other positions
-Serve as a member of the Board
-Serve as ex-officio member of all committees to all matters not pertaining to his employment
-Participate in and promote evangelism as a basic part of ministry of this church
-Communicate regularly with church family
-Visit members in the hospital
-Make counseling available and developing the counseling and disciplining ministries of the church
