Responsibilities:
Lord’s Day Worship
● Oversee and give directional leadership to the music ministry of the church.
● Select songs and lead congregational singing.
● Schedule and lead instrumentalists at the Sunday morning worship service, and other
services as needed.
Administrative:
● Oversee the administration of the Music Ministry and coordinate with the sound and
projection ministry for planning the Lord’s Day worship.
● Coordinate with Harvester’s Pastors weekly to plan the music for the worship service.
● Coordinate with other musicians to play music in the worship service.
Other:
● Depending on the want/need, a person who is looking for an internship/field education
(to complete RTS requirements or working towards ordination) will be provided with
opportunities to preach and teach to further that goal, as well as being
mentored/discipled by Harveter’s pastors.
Position Qualifications:
Spiritual Qualifications:
● A man who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the Savior of
sinners, and receives and trusts in Him alone for your salvation.
● Affirms the Bible (the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments) as God’s Word and
being holy, inerrant, infallible, and authoritative in all matters of life and godliness.
● Holds to the doctrines of the PCA, contained in the Westminster Confession of Faith and
Catechisms, as founded on the Scriptures, and express them in your words and actions.
● Is teachable and has a willing heart for service and a love for God and people.
● Is willing and able to become a member of Harvester PCA, making use of all rights and
privileges and fulfilling all responsibilities.
Professional Qualifications:
● Able to lead in musical worship in Lord’s Day Worship.
● Able to play a musical instrument.
● Able to discern music that is singable by a congregation, in conformity to scripture, in
agreement with the Westminster Standards, and focused on the Worship of God.
Additional Desired Qualifications (but not Required):
● Knowledge and ability to engage with the technological tools needed for worship
services – including the worship software, soundboard, and video (livestream).
