Job Description:
Position Description: This position exists to train and equip men with an aspiration to pastoral ministry. The purpose of the internship is to provide oversight of a man who is in the final stage of preparation for ministry. He will be intimately involved in all aspects of the church’s ministry. It is also a time to reveal, and hopefully compensate for, any lack in his education that is not covered in normal seminary courses.
This is a year long full time paid position
Start Date etc. can be negotiated with candidate
Specific duties will cover the full scope of pastoral ministry while also being tailored to the strengths and interests of the intern. This will include regular preaching opportunities, leading in worship services, teaching in other settings, being involved in session meetings, presbytery business. Etc.
Position Qualifications:
Pursuing ordination in a NAPARC denomination.
Seminary Graduate or student near the end of seminary studies
