Hello, I’m Ligon Duncan, and this is Book Notes. I’m excited to tell you about a volume produced by the entire faculty of Reformed Theological Seminary. This book is called Covenant Theology. It’s published by our friends at Crossway. As you can see, it’s a substantial volume. It’s edited by Guy Waters, who teaches New Testament in Jackson, Nick Reid, who teaches Old Testament in Orlando, and John Muether, who teaches church history in Orlando and is also our dean of libraries for the RTS system.
This volume introduces covenant theology historically, biblically, and theologically. It’s been called the go-to book on the subject, and so I’m very, very delighted to be able to tell you about it. It was dedicated to Palmer Robertson and Howard Griffith and Palmer told me how much he appreciated the faculty dedicating this volume. He actually has a chapter in the book as well. I think it’ll be helpful to you if you’re a pastor, if you’re a teacher teaching through this. If you’re a student, you may want to read through this with others.
