Global Degree Programs
Concerned directly with the text of Holy Scripture, the 66-hour MABS trains students in hermeneutics and the exegesis of the Greek and Hebrew for the purpose of theological reflection.
The 66-hour MATS focuses on the systematic exposition of Christian doctrine, guided by the Westminster Standards, reliant on the witness of Church history, and rooted in Holy Scripture.
(Closed to New Admissions)The 60-hour MAR is designed for Christians who desire to bring biblical and theological reflection on a wide spectrum of societal issues.
Certificate Program
An online graduate certificate is one of the most convenient ways to invest in theological formation and increase the ways you can serve the church. In 8-13 credit, discipline-specific certificate programs, you can deepen your understanding of the Scriptures for personal growth while opening doors for teaching, writing, and more.
Mentoring Program
The church-based mentor is a key component of the MA degree programs, and all global MA students are required to choose a mentor early in their degree work. Students meet with their mentors to review course material and discuss application to personal growth and ministry. The mentor may be a pastor, elder, or another qualified layperson in the church. Mentors discuss lectures with students, may serve as proctors for exams, read their thesis, and help evaluate the progress of the students throughout the program.
RTS Global Education provides mentors with resources for effective mentoring, including schedules and guides for working through each course with the student. For a more detailed description of the mentoring program, contact Jacob Harper, Director of Admissions at jharper@rts.edu.
