Are You Unable to Relocate to Prepare for the Pastorate?
RTS firmly believes that residential learning is the best way to prepare for gospel ministry. However, not everyone is able to relocate for a seminary degree. For those unable to leave a particular ministry or job in order to move to campus, RTS Orlando’s Hybrid Master of Divinity program offers a flexible way to gain a quality theological education.
Through the Hybrid MDiv Track, You Can:
- Earn up to 70 credits through distance education or through any of our other campuses
- Finish the remaining 36 credits in intensive courses, including hybrid courses, on the Orlando campus
- Complete multiple courses in each residential week on campus
What Makes the RTS Hybrid MDiv Different?
RTS Orlando’s Hybrid M.Div. program enables students to earn quality ministry preparation without relocating. Candidates will finish at least 36 credits in residence and up to 70 credits online. In-person classes are offered in a hybrid (part online, part on-campus) or intensive format, enabling students to complete residential requirements with seven one-week trips to the Orlando campus.
The Hybrid M.Div. program offers flexibility without compromising quality: RTS has been a leader in distance theological education for over 20 years. Students in the program enjoy many of the same benefits as the residential M.Div. program – the same rigorous curriculum, the same exceptional faculty, and the same practical field educational requirements. They also form a relational network for ministry as friendships formed during the on-campus weeks carry into online classes.
