Upcoming Seminars

Ed Welch – Blame it on the Brain: Distinguishing Disorders from Disobedience

Have you ever wondered where the body ends and soul begins? When does bad behavior stem primarily from a sinful heart, and when is it influenced by a disordered body? As friends, parents, and counselors, how do we care for those who are struggling when we can’t discern the root cause?
Join us as author and speaker Ed Welch helps us navigate the complex intersection of physical and spiritual causes and teaches us how to respond with wisdom and compassion.

About the Seminars

The Equip seminar series exists to assist the Charlotte community by bringing in scholars and speakers to address important issues in counseling and beyond. The hope is that workshop attendees will walk away more equipped to be a minister of Christ in the church and the world. We have approximately three workshops a year and they are held on the RTS Charlotte campus. See below for upcoming and previous seminars.
