The final chapel service in Grace Chapel at RTS Jackson‘s historic campus was entitled “How Firm a Foundation: A Testimony to God’s Faithfulness.” RTS students, alumni, and friends came together for the worship service and fellowship on the campus grounds.

Dr. Ligon Duncan preached the chapel sermon on John 17:17, “Thy Word is Still Truth,” explaining how Jesus’s prayer for his disciples encourages believers today.

Dr. Charles M. Wingard

Charlie Wingard (DMin, Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary) serves as Professor of Pastoral Theology and Dean of Students at RTS Jackson. Since May 2023, he has also served as Minister of Shepherding at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson. You can follow him on Twitter.

Dr. Guy P. Waters

Dr. Guy Waters (Ph.D., Duke University) is the James M. Baird, Jr. Professor of New Testament and Academic Dean at RTS Jackson. In 2003, he became a teaching elder in the Mississippi Valley Presbytery (PCA). He served as the Chair of the Credentials Committee for more than ten years.

Dr. J. Ligon Duncan III

Ligon Duncan (MDiv, Covenant Theological Seminary; PhD, University of Edinburgh) is the Chancellor & CEO of Reformed Theological Seminary, the John E. Dr. Robert (Ric) C. Cannada, Jr.

Dr. Robert C. Cannada, Jr. (D.Min., Reformed Theological Seminary) is the Chancellor, Emeritus of RTS. He is a native of Jackson, Mississippi. He continues to represent RTS in institutional initiatives.
