Hello, I’m Ligon Duncan, and this is RTS Book Notes. Today, I want to tell you about a book by two friends of mine, who are friends of one another. Dr. Sinclair Ferguson and Dr. Derek Thomas are both Chancellor’s Professors of Systematic Theology for Reformed Theological Seminary, and they wrote together this book, called Ichthus. And it’s about, of course, the person and work of Jesus Christ. This volume is published by the Banner of Truth Trust. They preached the messages behind this book at First Presbyterian Church in Columbia, South Carolina, where they both served as senior pastor consecutively. These men are profound theologians with pastoral instincts, and this volume will not only be of devotional aid to every Christian, but also help pastors and Bible teachers as they teach on the subject of the person of Christ.
