Hello, I’m Ligon Duncan, the chancellor of Reformed Theological Seminary, and this is RTS Book Notes. Today I want to tell you about a book called Heaven on Earth: What the Bible Teaches about Life to Come. It’s published by Christian Focus Publications, and it’s written by Dr. Derek Thomas, who is Chancellor’s Professor of Theology for Reformed Theological Seminary. He taught theology for many years at RTS Jackson and RTS Atlanta, and now he teaches all over the place. He’s also a teaching fellow of Ligonier Ministries. It’s seven simple studies in the life to come, and that’s a very, very important thing for all of us to understand, especially people who are pastors and teachers.
