Hello, I’m Ligon Duncan, and this is RTS Book Notes. Today, I want to tell you about a little book that I wrote with Nick Reid. Nick Reid is a professor of Old Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. And this book came out of a series of messages that I gave at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, prompted by Donna Dobbs, who was the director of Christian Education there. We’d had a number of heartbreaking deaths in the congregation, and people were asking hard questions. And she suggested to me that I do a series on the four last things, and address death and the afterlife. And I did that in that series, and Nick Reid pulled it all together, and Christian Focus put it into this little book, called Fear Not! So I hope it’ll be helpful to pastors, but also ordinary Christians who are asking those questions about death and the last things. Thank you so much for listening to RTS Book Notes.
