About Grace Church
At Grace Church we proclaim the Bible as God's Word, at the heart of which is the gospel of Jesus Christ. We identify as Reformed, embracing the biblical teachings affirmed by the Protestant reformers as summarized in the Westminster Confession.
Located in a suburban community with a high percentage of professionals, we have a core of long-term members and many who are brought to the area on temporary work assignment. Grace Church is a friendly mix of families and singles, with many children and youth. Options abound for families to choose from excellent public or private schools or to homeschool.
Our pastor serves on the session with eight ruling elders, all of whom are active in shepherding and discipling the members of the church. The board of deacons serves by ministering to those with physical or financial needs. The board of trustees manages the church’s property and finances. A large number of members are active in church ministries, including serving in Sunday School, nursery, youth ministry, coffee and fellowship meal planning and preparation, ushering, music, communion care, and on the audiovisual team.
Fellowship groups meet during the week at various locations around the area. Prayer, singing, and Bible study, along with the occasional meal together, encourage spiritual growth and foster relationships among the group members.
Both women’s and men’s ministries provide opportunities for spiritual growth through teaching and mentoring opportunities that include Bible studies, retreats, and other fellowship activities.
