Job Title:
Associate Director of Ministry: Christian Witness to Israel (N America)
Job Description:
This is a senior role within CWI (N. America) that involves:
(i) Assisting the Director in the oversight of all CWINA operations under the governance of the CWINA Board.
(ii) Building a nationwide Biblical burden for Jewish Evangelism through preaching, teaching and resource development of both online and printed media.
(iii) Training local churches in intentional evangelistic mobilization, leading by example and assisting in friendship evangelism, instructing church receptivity of Jewish unbelievers, and helping in church discipleship.
(iv) Maintaining and developing connections with reformed seminaries for both the promotion of CWINA and potential recruitment for CWINA.
(v) Maintaining and developing a viable support base through diligent networking and accountable follow up.
(vi) Engaging with the Director in brain-storming the visionary expansion of CWINA’s ministry and assisting in the implementation of Board approved plans for CWINA 2.0.
As a para-church ministry Christian Witness to Israel (N. America) exists to assist the Church in its mission, particularly as it pertains to the puritan hope for the redemption of the Jewish people (Romans 9-11). We are a non-dispensational, gospel centered ministry, with strongly accountable church and seminary links. Our roots are the ‘British Society for the Propagation of the Gospel Among the Jews’ begun in 1842 through the burden of worthies such as R M M’Cheyne and the Bonars. Our Board is currently made up of reformed pastors and elders from the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, the Presbyterian Church in America, Southern Baptist Convention and the Free Church of Scotland.

Position Qualifications:
MINISTRY QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL
- Ordained to the Christian Ministry by a confessionally reformed church.
- In good standing within a local church with eldership recommendations.
- A heart for the Lord and a heart for the lost, particularly for Jewish redemption.
- Evidential ability in preaching / teaching with reformed convictions.
- Displaying distinct evangelistic ability in pulpit and street.
- Gifted and orderly in spiritual life and regular administrative duties.
GENERAL CHRISTIAN CHARACTER AND ABILITIES
ESSENTIAL
- A vital personal walk with the Lord.
- Self-starting and motivated, yet also a team player.
- A ‘people person’ able to strike up conversations with strangers.
- A diligent work ethic, that is transparent and accountable.
- Having a good level of competence in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint for working with the Director and engaging with supporters.
- Strong support network and ministry connections for quick development.
- A vision for expanding the CWINA ministry nationwide.
- In agreement with CWINA’s ‘Policy & Practice’ Document.
DESIRED
- Previous experience in Pastoral Ministry, Missions, frontline evangelism and/or Jewish evangelism.
- Previous experience and ability in online and/or printed media.
- Previous experience in ministry operational oversight or business management.
