Job Description:

As our ministry grows, we are seeking several seasoned, talented professionals to provide strong administrative support to key teams within the ministry.
As a member of the administrative support structure at Ligonier Ministries, you will organize, delegate, and execute tasks and projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will keep a close eye on the details so that your manager is free to focus on strategic responsibilities and projects. You will ensure timely communication with internal and external constituents, assist in financial management processes, and provide support in other areas such as calendar management, booking travel, and elements of project coordination.

Events & Hospitality
This role provides behind-the-scenes administrative support to our Events & Hospitality team as they plan opportunities for our constituents and staff to gather. Additionally, this role would be responsible for tracking team expenditures, planning internal events, and supporting the Director of Events and Hospitality with various projects. An important aspect of this role is to coordinate and book travel for groups of staff traveling to events and to equip our team with all the details they need for a successful trip. Some travel may be required to support the team at various events and off-site meetings. Independent judgment and multitasking skills are required to plan, prioritize, anticipate needs of the team, and organize multiple and varied requests.Leadership Team

These roles provide administrative support for key members of our Executive Team. They require strong independent judgment, initiative, and a high level of professionalism.  In addition to calendar, travel, and expense management, you may arrange for meetings and events with outside organizations or vendors, constituents, or other members of the management team.  You will also support key projects and initiatives by providing information and tools necessary for productive, daily operations. Please note that part-time options (25 hours/week) may be available for this team.

Creative

Provide administrative support for the Creative Team, managing calendars, coordinating meetings and activities, and assisting with financial processes, vendor management, and special projects. You would also assist the department manager and production designers with vendor communication and proof management and periodically proofreading copy for spelling and grammar, suggesting appropriate changes. Experience in a marketing, design, or print-related environment is a huge plus for this position.

Position Qualifications:

You may be the right fit if you have:
  • Proven experience as an executive assistant or other relevant administrative support experience
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills—you know everything has a place and you know where to find it.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload—understanding that some tasks become the priority and knowing when to make that call.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills—not only identifying issues, but being able to recommend viable solutions.
  • Professional-level verbal and written communications skills—communicating with all levels within and outside of the organization.
  • Discretion and confidentiality—you are known to be a person who keeps information safe and secure.
  • In-depth understanding of the entire MS Office suite and familiar with various task and project management platforms—using tools to make your work more efficient.
  • Tech savviness, and comfort in both a Windows and a Mac environment—you may have a favorite, but you can use either effectively.
  • Agreement with Ligonier’s General Statement of Faith.

 

This position is for a non-profit Christian ministry located in Sanford, FL.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 – $23.00 hourly. Pay ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. We may ultimately offer more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, geographic location, and organizational needs.
