At RTS Orlando, spiritual formation goes beyond the classroom. Our campus is a vibrant, Christ-centered community where students grow in faith through weekly chapel services, fellowship groups, and meaningful discipleship opportunities.

Chapel

Join the seminary community for weekly worship, preaching, and reflection during our campus chapel services.

Schedule:

  • Wednesday

  • 11:00 a.m.

  • Held in Fellowship Hall during the fall and spring semesters.

  • Family, friends, and community members are also very welcome to participate. Some weeks, a community lunch will be held in the Dining Hall following chapel.

Residential Community

Student housing at the Villas at Lakeside fosters spiritual growth, shared rhythms, and strong community among RTS Orlando students and their families.​

Events include:​

  • Cookouts and game nights

  • Pool parties and progressive dinners

  • Opportunities to connect with neighbors in the broader condo community​

Housing life becomes an extension of seminary formation—shaped by hospitality, prayer, and intentional community.​

Women’s Fellowship

Women in Ministry (WiM) is a central part of student life at RTS Orlando, offering support, connection, and encouragement for all women in the seminary community—students, spouses, staff, and faculty alike.

Events include:

  • Connection lunches and park days

  • Prayer groups and topical discussions

  • Family-friendly gatherings (many with childcare)

For student spouses, Student Wives in Ministry (S.W.I.M.) provides monthly fellowship and prayer designed to build friendships and offer support.

Live Where You Learn

Moving to a new place can feel overwhelming—but at RTS Orlando, we aim to make that transition smoother. Our student housing is more than just a place to live. It’s a built-in community where students and their families grow together, share life, and reach out to others.

Community Living

RTS Orlando housing is located at the Villas at Lakeside, a condominium community where RTS students and their families share life together. Community events include cookouts, game nights, pool parties, and progressive dinners. Residents also engage with neighbors in the broader complex.

Floorplans & Pricing

Housing options include:

2BR / 1BA: $1100/month (married) or $550/month per student
2BR / 2BA: $1200/month (married) or $600/month per student
3BR / 2BA: $1500/month (married) or $500/month per student

A $400 refundable deposit is required.

Amenities Included

As a resident, you’ll have access to the community pool, tennis court, gym, and a lake-view walking trail. A key for the gym is provided at move-in. Water and garbage services are included in the monthly rent.

How to Apply

RTS housing is available only to full-time students on a first-come, first-served basis. You must be admitted to an RTS degree program before applying.

What utilities are included in rent?

Water and garbage are included. Students are responsible for setting up and paying for power, internet, cable, and phone service.

Which utility providers serve the Villas at Lakeside?
  • Power: Duke Energy (aka Progressive Energy)
  • Internet: Brighthouse or AT&T
  • Utility deposit (Duke Energy): $200
Is housing guaranteed once I apply?

No. Housing is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

What if RTS housing is full?

If no RTS-owned housing is available, students are responsible for finding their own housing.

Approximate rental prices in the Oviedo and Winter Springs area:

  • 1BR Apartments: $1300–$1600/month
  • 2BR Apartments: $1600–$2000/month
  • 3BR Apartments: $1800–$2200/month
  • 3BR Houses: $1600–$2000/month
Can RTS help me find a home to purchase?

Yes. RTS Orlando recommends the following local realtors:

Students are responsible for their own home purchase decisions, but may contact these realtors directly for assistance exploring housing options.

What should I know about local traffic?

Oviedo is northeast of Orlando. Expect traffic heading into Orlando around 8 a.m. and out around 5 p.m., especially on I-4, Aloma (426), Red Bug Lake Road, and Alafaya Trail (434). Toll roads 417 (Greeneway) and 408 are often quicker. Reverse commutes from downtown Orlando may be easier.
