Job Description:
Summary and Scope of Responsibilities:
Assist the senior pastor in leading the congregation to fulfill God’s Great Commission for the church. Report to the senior pastor and the Governing Board: English ministry, prayer ministry, preaching and teaching, visitation and pastoral care, fellowship ministry, local gospel work, and administrative work.
Position Qualifications:
Application qualifications and personal characteristics:
- Have a clear calling from God, have the heart of a pastor, and must have an attitude of dedication to serve in a teamwork environment
- Graduated from an accredited evangelical theological seminary, with a Master of Divinity degree recognized by the Association of Theological Schools
- Some full-time pastoral experience after seminary is better
- In addition to English, it would be better if you can communicate in Mandarin or Cantonese
- Agree with and fully abide by the Statement of Faith, Constitution and By-Laws of the Christian and Missionary Alliance
- Recognize and promote the vision and direction of Christ Proclamation Church, C&MA

Our second generation are American Born Chinese whose first language is English. We seek to further develop our vibrant youth/college English ministry to a ministry that would encompass young adults and families. Our church is part of the Mid-Atlantic District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
