RTS Orlando Announces Spring 2020 Chapel Schedule

RTS-Orlando-Chapel

With the start of the spring semester, RTS Orlando has released its chapel schedule. Services will begin anew on Wednesday, February 5.

“Gathered worship as a learning community serves as a high point of our campus calendar each week, with faculty, staff, and students joining together in worship,” Associate Professor and Dean of the Chapel Mike Glodo shared. “The whole campus community gathers at chapel to give praise to God, to seek his favor, and to hear different speakers share a Word from Scripture. Neighbors, alumni, and friends of the seminary are welcome to join and participate as well.”

Spring 2020 chapels will include a sermon series entitled “There Is No Rock Like Our Rock: The Incomparability of God.” Readings and sermons will explore the singular glory and unique beauty of God in which we find comfort and joy, even amidst struggles and difficulties. Faculty and M.Div. students lead worship, while student and staff musicians assist. Chapel worship takes place every Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Pamplin Chapel, and refreshment and fellowship follows.

This spring’s speakers include the Rev. Dr. Case Thorp, Associate Pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Orlando and current Moderator of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. The spring chapel series will feature a number of campus faculty, as well as select senior M.Div. students. The weekly schedule and more information can be found here. Previous chapel recordings can be found on the Resources page as well as the RTS Orlando channel on Soundcloud.
