Dr. Ligon Duncan talks about a book he wrote with Susan HuntWomen’s Ministry in the Local Church discusses the roles of women and encourages them in the life and ministry of the local church.

Hello, I’m Ligon Duncan, and this is RTS Book Notes. Today, I want to tell you about a book that I had the privilege of coauthoring with Susan Hunt. It’s called Women’s Ministry in the Local Church. And really, it should say “by Susan Hunt and Ligon Duncan,” because Susan really did the hard work in this volume.

Susan Hunt has been a spiritual mother to hundreds, if not thousands, of godly Christian women in the Reformed and Presbyterian world. And this book really shows her heart. And I join in with her to provide the biblical-theological background regarding the roles and ministry of women in the life of the church. And we want to encourage Christian women through this volume in doing the things that God has called them to do, and in appreciating the great realities for which God has created them. The book is published by Crossway, and it’s called Women’s Ministry in the Local Church. Thanks so much for listening to RTS Book Notes.
