Hello, I’m Ligon Duncan, the Chancellor of Reformed Theological Seminary, and this is RTS Book Notes. Today I want to tell you about a book by Dr. Sinclair Ferguson. Dr. Ferguson is Chancellor’s Professor of Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary, and he’s a teaching fellow for Ligonier Ministries.

The Whole Christ is an excellent work for pastors and for Christians seeking to grow in grace.Dr. Ferguson’s book The Whole Christ is an excellent work for pastors and for Christians seeking to grow in grace. The Whole Christ started as a series of lectures about an obscure controversy in Scotland in the 18th century, the Marrow Controversy. But this book is really, really good in terms of helping pastors understand how to preach grace in such a way to deal both with antinomianism and legalism in the Christian life. It’s published by Crossway Books, and I heartily recommend it to you. Thanks for listening to RTS Book Notes.
