Hello, I’m Ligon Duncan, and I’m the chancellor and CEO of Reformed Theological Seminary. Today, I want to tell you about a book by Charlie Wingard, who is professor of pastoral theology at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson. Dr. Wingard is a veteran pastor, but he’s written this book for new pastors. It’s called Help for the New Pastor. It’s published by our friends at P&R Publishing. And really, whether you are a new pastor or a veteran pastor, you will find help from this book. I read this book in order to do an endorsement, and it helped me. The commentary and the counsel that is given in this book will be helpful to every pastor, and frankly, anybody in any kind of Christian ministry.
