(JACKSON, Miss.) – The Jackson campus of Reformed Theological Seminary is pleased to be hosting a live webinar on August 27, 2019: “How to Start Preparing for Seminary Today.” The webinar will be hosted by Dr. Ligon Duncan and Dr. Charlie Wingard.

Dr. Duncan and Dr. Wingard will be sharing their thoughts on how to get the most out of seminary, and will also answer questions from the viewers. They will discuss why seminary is important for those considering pastoral ministry, and how students can be well-prepared for seminary.

Step Morgan, Director of Admissions at RTS Jackson, commented, “Ligon Duncan and Charlie Wingard are the real deal – men who have decades of experience in pastoral ministry, and who have also proven themselves to be gifted teachers in the seminary setting. I wish something like this had been available to me before I became a student. If you are considering seminary, don’t miss this webinar.”

Dr. Ligon Duncan, Chancellor and CEO of RTS, teaches courses at various campuses in his role as the John E. Richards Professor of Systematic and Historical Theology. Before his appointment as Chancellor and CEO, he served as senior minister of First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, Mississippi, for 17 years.
