Chapel is held in Grace Chapel on Wednesday mornings from 11:00 to 11:50 AM during the Fall and Spring semesters. The purpose of chapel is to praise God with singing, to offer prayer for the seminary community, and to sit together as a community under the preached Word of God. Find out more »Harold O.J. Brown Lecture Series 2020
Dr. Philip Ryken, President of Wheaton College, will deliver the annual lecture series, speaking on: “Messiah Comes to Middle Earth: Images of Christ’s Threefold Office in The Lord of the Rings”. Dr. Ryken earned a master of divinity degree from Westminster Theological Seminary and a doctorate in historical theology from the University of Oxford. He preached at Philadelphia’s historic Tenth Presbyterian Church from 1995 until his appointment at Wheaton in 2010. President Ryken has published more than 50 books, serves as a board member for the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities, the Lausanne Movement, and the National Association of Evangelicals.
There will be 2 lectures and lunch will be provided. Registration is required.
