Chapel: Michael Aitcheson
This year’s chapel theme is “From a Bath to a Banquet: The Christian Life through the Sacraments.” Just as Luther described the Psalms as a “little Bible,” the whole Christian life can be examined through baptism and the Lord’s Supper. So in addition to the privilege of giving God the glory due his name in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, we will have the privilege of hearing him speak.

On Wednesday, February 16, RTS Jackson will be hosting a Spring Pie Bake-Off! All students are invited to prepare the best pie they can bake and present it for all to enjoy, and everyone is welcome to come sample and judge the submissions. Chapel is held in Grace Chapel on Wednesday mornings from 11:00 to 11:50 AM during the Fall and Spring semesters. The purpose of chapel is to praise God with singing, to offer prayer for the seminary community, and to sit together as a community under the preached Word of God.
