Description of Organization
Christ Presbyterian Church is a growing PCA church in the Atlanta suburb of Newnan southwest of the city. We have about 160 active members with about 1/3 of those being under the age of 18.
Our current paid staff includes the senior pastor, a full-time Youth Director, a part-time Children’s Ministry Director, and a part-time admin. Our church is also blessed with a bi-vocational associate pastor serving primarily as a volunteer.
Our music in worship has been faithfully led on a volunteer basis by one of our deacons and his wife for the last two decades, but as the church has grown so has the administrative burden in organizing our music volunteers. While our current leaders desire to keep helping, the organizational and administrative aspects of our music have grown beyond a volunteer role. Our current music is primarily guitar-led with a variety of worship songs, as well as traditional and modern hymns.
We are also a year into a volunteer-led music program for our elementary kids.
