Job Title:
Summer Youth Ministry Intern: Good News Presbyterian Church
Job Description:
We are seeking a young man who will build relationships with our small group of teens, lead a weekly youth group meeting and a discipleship group, network with them to reach their friends, plan and lead a weekly to biweekly fellowship activity, and teach the teen Sunday school class, and attend Sunday worship.
Other ministry duties will be assigned depending on the candidate’s interests and aptitudes.
The candidate will need to live in the Frederick, Maryland area.
20 hours per week for 10-14 weeks. $400/week plus an expense account.
There is some flexibility in the job description. Our main concern is to find a young man who has a heart for discipling and reaching out to young people.
The pastor will meet with the intern weekly.
Position Qualifications:
Christian conversion and a life of personal integrity.
The ability to teach Scripture in a clear and engaging manner.
A commitment to the system of theology summarized in the Westminster Confession of Faith.
