Job Description:
The role of senior pastor at Immanuel Chapel is a calling to shepherd God’s people through faithful preaching, teaching, and discipleship. Core responsibilities include:
- Preaching the Word of God at morning and evening worship services.
- Preparing and leading all aspects of the weekly worship service.
- Leading a midweek prayer meeting and/or Bible study.
- Administering the sacraments.
- Providing pastoral care through visitation and equipping members for ministry.
- Collaborating with the session and deacons in the governance of the church.

Immanuel Chapel, a congregation of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Upton, MA, is prayerfully seeking a full-time senior pastor to lead and nurture our church family. After 21 years of faithful ministry, our beloved pastor retired at the end of 2024. The congregation is eager to continue growing in Christ.
Founded in 1975, Immanuel Chapel is a close-knit body of believers with just over 50 regularly attending members and an average morning worship attendance of about 60. We are confident that, with God’s blessing, there is room for growth in our outreach and ministry. Our congregation meets in a peaceful, historic New England setting, with the added blessing of a spacious, modern 3-story parsonage located right on the church property.
