Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Designer to join our in-house Creative team. Your work will serve a wide variety of ministry outreaches at Ligonier, including web, social media, event, and print initiatives.

Your portfolio shows your versatility and skill across multiple mediums but with a particular strength in web, app, or UI/UX related projects. You have experience working as part of a team (internships and freelance projects count too) and you’re excited about being part of ours. That excitement is fueled by your passion to do excellent work for the glory of God and the good of your neighbor and the many people we seek to serve as a creative team.

This position is located in Sanford, FL, and our preference would be to see you in person every day. However, we’d be willing to talk about a remote arrangement if we really love your work and you don’t want to move to the Sunshine State.
The pay range for this position is $65,000 – $85,000 annually. Pay ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. We may ultimately offer more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, geographic location, and organizational needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, a related design field, or demonstrated equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional design experience, with a strong portfolio of work
  • Demonstrated expertise in web project and UI/UX design.
  • A strong understanding of design thinking principles, including a user-centered and iterative approach to design projects.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, Figma, or similar.
  • Strong ability to translate complex ideas into beautiful, user-friendly designs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement, growth, and development as a creative professional
  • A posture of humility and service, employing your creative gifts and talents in service of others.
  • Commitment to Reformed theology and affirmation of Ligonier Ministries’ General Statement of Faith
This position is for a non-profit Christian ministry located in Sanford, FL. At this time, we are only able to hire individuals who are authorized to work in the United States.
