Job Description:
We have a very nice facility on five acres close to downtown Jasper. Our makeup is a small band of seniors eager to assist a pastor in building a congregation of reformed, Gospel focused congregants to fill it. We are in pretty good financial shape. Our building is paid for.
Position Qualifications:
MDiv or are working on MDiv in Reformed Theology.
Gifted preacher of the full council of God—Gospel driven.
Outgoing, confident, people loving man.
Excited about catching the vision for rebirth of this historical church, and reaching the community for Christ.
Would need to raise the salary beyond $30,000 through the presbytery or other sources, or the position could be half time.

The church has a history extending back to 1810. Eight years ago it broke off from the PCUSA, and it has struggled since. We are now seeking to restart. We own a nice church facility and and are relatively well off financially. The church is comprised of a few elderly people, but eager to build a congregation once we find a leader. We are starting with five loaves and two fish.
