As a Gift Processing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our supporters feel valued and appreciated by managing the accurate processing of donations, maintaining meticulous records, and contributing to our overall financial integrity. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will help us further our outreach.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Lockbox processing
    • Enter Check/Cash/Credit Card payments in the CRM software
    • Handle general account information requests from staff.
    • Review and correct imported transactions under Lockbox- Wholetail
    • Research donations with unclear instructions to be certain of accurate recording of designated and undesignated funds.
  • Mail-in check handling
    • Handle mail-in cash and check orders and prepares for deposit, as well as handles data entry for these items.
    • Open, sort, and prepare mailed/hand-in cash and check; create report and prepare for data entry.
  • ACH/EFT gift entries
  • Act as backup for the following:
    • WS/WTL lockbox entry process
    • Mail-in open/deposit/entry
    • Posting of WS/WTL/Mail-in batches

Position Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who has some general accounting knowledge, and who demonstrates the ability to multitask, good critical thinking skills, and experience using Word and Excel.

This position is for a non-profit Christian ministry located in Sanford, FL. At this time, we are only able to hire individuals who are authorized to work in the United States.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 – $22.50 per hour. Pay ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. We may ultimately offer more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, geographic location, and organizational needs.
