Job Description:
He will work interdependently alongside the Deacon Board in pastoral and administrative functions for various areas of church ministries. These include the delivery of sermons and the teaching of Sunday School.
Position Qualifications:
- Part/Full-Time Pastoral Position: Master Degree in Divinity
- Internship Position: completed one year of seminary program working towards a Master Degree in Divinity
The successful candidate is a devoted and passionate Christian leader who is proactive in building relationships with the congregants and is willing to adapt to the changing ministry needs.

OCM Canaan Church of Princeton is one of the eight (8) sister churches of Oversea Chinese Mission (OCM) serving the New York and New Jersey area. It is a non-denominational community church with a Chinese and an English ministry serving the Greater Princeton area of New Jersey. Our Chinese-speaking ministry currently comprises 80-100 families, while the English-speaking ministry has a small congregation of fewer than 25 individuals including children, youth, and adults. We aspire to grow the English-speaking ministry with the mission to introduce Jesus Christ to our community through worship, discipleship, teaching, and counseling.
Canaan Church is looking for a full-time/part-time minister to shepherd a small group of English-speaking congregants comprising youth and adults and to grow the ministry.
