St. Thomas More is a fairly large parish of 2000+ families set within 20 pastoral acres and a short walking distance to Siesta Key. The environment lends itself to contemplation and creativity. You’ll have opportunities to plan Youth Ministry activities and Adult Faith Formation within the large, fully equipped Spirit Conference Center. A friendly and welcoming congregation awaits you in this setting of immense beauty, led by dynamic, energetic priests and a host of committed lay ministers and staff.
Duties include:
* Administer catechetical programs: Adult and Youth Faith Formation for Grades K-12
* Assist the Pastor in planning catechetical programs that meet both short and long term goals
* Collaborate and communicate with the Pastor, Parochial Vicar, parish ministries and staff
*Promote events related to catechetical programs
* Act as liaison between the Parish and the Diocesan Office of Religious Education as well as attend Diocesan meetings related to Religious Education
