Pastor of English Ministries
Job Description:
We are seeking an Associate Pastor or Pastor of English Ministries. Responsibilities include all aspects of leading and shepherding the English-speaking congregation of about 50. More than half of the English congregation consists of youths.
Position Qualifications:
The applicant should understand and possess the following:
1. Be a person of integrity possessing the qualities as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9.
2. Gifted in servant-leadership, preaching, teaching, evangelism, and discipleship.
3. Desire and strive to minister to all age groups: adults, youth, and families, and promote intergenerational integration.
4. A Spirit-led heart for community outreach.
5. Ability to work with the Board and the pastoral staff to minister to the whole church body as a single entity.
6. Willingness to follow the Church Constitution and By-Laws, and Statement of Faith https://www.lialc.org/faith-stmt.html.
7. A completed Master of Divinity or near completion from an accredited seminary. An applicant with a North American education / experience is preferred.
