Job Overview
Arabic Christian Fellowship is seeking a dedicated Ministry Coordinator to support the daily operations of our church. The ideal candidate will provide administrative assistance to the church leadership, manage communication, coordinate events, and ensure smooth functioning of church activities.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include the following or similar tasks:
• Assist with administrative tasks such as managing calendars, emails, and phone communication.
• Coordinate and support church events, services, and meetings. Including “special” services/events: baptisms, marriages and memorials.
• Set up church service/meetings. e.g. tables, chairs, projectors, screens, etc. as necessary
• Oversight of the sound system, microphones, audio recording of sermons when necessary
• Liaising with musicians, special speakers, etc. when necessary.
• Prepare bulletins, newsletters, and announcements.
• Represent the church at meetings and events.
• Maintain accurate records of membership, attendance, and donations.
• Manage church scheduling, including facility use and event reservations.
• Arrange meetings between pastoral staff and people who want to speak with them.
• Support pastoral staff with various tasks, including document preparation and research.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure sensitive information is handled appropriately.
• Open/lock the church when others are not available.
• Other duties, as agreed.
Qualifications:
• Associate’s or higher degree, or 5 years of experience.
• Prior experience in an administrative or church setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• A passion for building the church body.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a heart for ministry.
