Project Specialist, Creative

Job Description:

Are you a detail-oriented and resourceful professional ready to make a significant impact? As a Project Specialist, you will be essential in steering Creative projects from inception to completion, handling key tasks like project intake and coordination, information gathering, timeline management, and quality assurance. You’ll collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Creative Services Team, supporting not only the Creative team but also working alongside other departments within the ministry.

As project specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Project Intake and Coordination: Receive and review project requests, ensuring all necessary details are gathered and documented under the direction of the Project Manager and submitting the work into the project management system.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate communication among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure clarity and alignment on project goals and expectations. This includes routing copy, design, and costs to stakeholders.
  • Information Gathering and Coordination: Obtain and coordinate peripheral project information to ensure that the project stays on track such as lists, POs, and specs.
  • Assist with Timeline Management: Collaborate with the Project Manager to create project timelines and milestones.
  • Quality Assurance and Project Completion Assessment: Conduct quality checks on project deliverables to ensure they meet established standards and specifications before delivering to the client. Coordinate deliveries (both digitally and physically).
  • Maintain Project Records: Maintain accurate documentation and records related to project activities, ensuring accessibility and completeness.

Education/Experience Requirements
  • An associate’s degree or higher in a related field such as business
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience preferred
  • Interest in marketing or design
  • Proficiency with Apple computers
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

This position is for a non-profit Christian ministry located in Sanford, Florida. At this time, we are only able to hire individuals who are authorized to work in the United States.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 – $26.00 per hour. Pay ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. We may ultimately offer more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, geographic location, and organizational needs.
