In this talk entitled “Faithful Disobedience: Learning about Jesus the King in the Theology of Wang Yi,” part of the Edmiston Center’s Grimké Lecture Series at RTS Atlanta, Hannah Nation examines the historic gospel of grace in China’s churches, points believers to look to Pastor Wang Yi’s “faithful disobedience” in a Communist regime and the kingship of Jesus, and highlights the reminder that faithful disobedience is for the purpose of not changing the world, but testifying about another world instead.
