About Rev. Messner
Aaron is the Senior Minister of Westminster Presbyterian Church here in Atlanta. He has served in this capacity since 2013. Prior to moving to Atlanta, Aaron had the privilege of serving as a seminary intern at the historic Tenth Presbyterian Church in downtown Philadelphia, where he worked with the church’s outreach ministry to the homeless. After graduation, he was called to be a pastor at Tenth and preached extensively in their evening worship services. Five years later, Aaron was called to work as College Chaplain and a member of the faculty at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, GA, where he served for 5 ½ years. Aaron has had the opportunity to sit under the ministries of a number of high profile preachers in his lifetime, men like Philip Ryken and R. Kent Hughes. He has also lectured around the world on the topic of expositional preaching in conjunction with The Charles Simeon Trust. Aaron and his wife Nancy have five children (Nathan, Micah, Ilsa, Titus, and Soren).
