About Rev. Newsom
Les is a native of Memphis, TN and graduated from the University of Memphis and RTS Jackson. He is the Lead Pastor at Christ Presbyterian Church in Oxford, MS. Previously Les served 24 years with RUF in several roles: as the Campus Minister at the University of Memphis and the University of Mississippi, and as the Area Coordinator of RUF ministries in Arkansas, West Tennessee, Mississippi (Midsouth), and Alabama.
Les and his wife Ginger are the proud parents of three children: Anna Grace, Caroline, and Luke.
