About Mr. Crabb

Before coming to RTS Jackson in 2000, John worked at the Phoenix Public Library in Phoenix, Arizona from 1989 to 2000, as well as the Glendale Community College library, and the Arizona Adult Literacy and Technology and Resource Center. He earned his Master of Arts in Library and Information Science from the University of Arizona in 1995, and his Master of Arts in Theological Studies from RTS in 2013.  John was promoted to the position of Director of the RTS Jackson library that same year.

John, his wife Mindy and son Daniel moved to Jackson in 2000 when John was appointed as the RTS Jackson Library’s Technical Services Librarian.  He became Director of the Library in 2013.

In Phoenix, they were members of Fellowship of Grace (PCA) where John led the children’s Sunday School program.  He lives in Clinton with his wife who received her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from RTS in 2017. They are members of Providence Presbyterian Church (PCA), although they most recently assisted in an independent, missional church plant project in Clinton.

One of John’s life verses from Scripture is Romans 13:10-11, Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. Do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we believed.
