About Dr. House

Dr. Mark House has been a pastor in the OPC and the PCA for 25 years, having pastored two churches in Southern California. Dr. House graduated with a B.A. in Humanities from Biola University (1976). His initial seminary training was at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (MDiv 1980). More recently (2002), he received his Ph.D. from Fuller Theological Seminary in New Testament Studies. His dissertation, received with distinction, dealt with the correlation between linguistic style and authorship.

While pastoring, Dr. House has taught seminary courses as an adjunct professor at Talbot School of Theology, Fuller Theological Seminary, and New Geneva Theological Seminary for the past decade. Courses he has taught include: NT Greek, NT exegetical methods, Exegesis of the Johannine Epistles, and the History of Apologetics. Dr. House also taught a summer course in Christian Ethics in the Ukraine.

Currently, Dr. House is the New Testament and Greek Academic Editor for Hendrickson Publishers in Peabody, Massachusetts. He has published several book reviews and articles, and is currently working on a series of articles for the forthcoming Encyclopedia of Christian Literature.

Dr. House resides in Peabody, Massachusetts with his wife, Sharon (married 1975), and two of their four children. Dr. House has been with RTS Global since 2008.
