About Dr. Colson
Chuck has served as the Senior Pastor of Christ Church Presbyterian in Jacksonville, Florida since 2014. Before arriving at Christ Church, Chuck served as an assistant pastor in Memphis, Tennessee and also planted a church in Arlington, Virginia. Chuck earned his Ph.D. from the University of Aberdeen where he studied the works of John Calvin on the Sabbath commandment (publication forthcoming). Having co-written three albums of hymns with Andy Zipf, Chuck is dedicated to the ongoing renewal and reformation of the church’s worship. He and his wife, Melissa, have been married for 22 years. They have three children who fill their home with joy, conversation, and competitive board game play.
