Gladd to Join RTS Jackson Faculty This Spring

RTS Jackson is pleased to announce that Dr. Benjamin Gladd will join the RTS Jackson faculty to teach New Testament starting this Spring semester.  He was officially approved by the Executive Committee on Thursday, November 3, and will be leaving his pastoral position at Apple Valley Baptist Church in California to join our faculty.

Ben completed his PhD from Wheaton College in 2008.  His interests lie in biblical theology, the use of the Old Testament in the New, and biblical exegesis.  His PhD dissertation focused on the use of “mystery” in the book of Daniel and its biblical-theological connections to First Corinthians.

He has co-authored two books with G.K. Beale through IV Press: Hidden But Now Revealed: A Biblical Theology of Divine Mystery forthcoming in 2012, and The Story Retold: A Biblical-Theological Introduction to the New Testament forthcoming in 2013.

Ben’s hobbies include sports, photography, and all things related to Apple.  Ben and his wife, Nikki, are proud parents of their two-year-old son, Judah.
