2015 marks a year of milestones for many RTS Jackson faculty. Jim Hurley, Academic Director and Professor of Marriage and Family Therapy for the MFTC program, is celebrating his 40th year of ordination in the Presbyterian Church in America this year. Elias Medeiros, Professor of Missions, is also celebrating 40 years of ordained ministry. Dean of Students and Professor of Practical Theology Charlie Wingard‘s 30th anniversary of his ordination was in August along with RTS Chancellor and CEO Ligon Duncan‘s 25th anniversary of his ordination. Guy Richardson, President of RTS Jackson, will celebrate 30 years next year.
These men join a host of faculty at RTS Jackson for a combined total of over 200 years of gospel ministry. These faculty include: Bruce Baugus (17 years); Guy Waters (12 years); Sean Lucas (12 years); Mike McKelvey (7 years); and Miles Van Pelt (6 years).
