RTS Trustee Don Breazeale goes home to be with the Lord

Donald Glenn Breazeale, Sr. of Jackson died at home on November 12, 2015. He went to be with the Lord after battling cancer for a season.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Missye Rhee; and by his parents, Pearl and Forest Breazeale. He is survived by his wife, Betsy Ann; his children: Glenn Breazeale (Carter) of Lookout Mountain, Tennessee; Maury Breazeale (Lauren) of Jackson; and Marianna Shaw (Ben) of Hattiesburg; his step-children: Ann Lowrey Forster (Paul), Cliff Eason, and Paul Eason, Don and Betsy Ann have nine grandchildren: Caroline and Gigi Breazeale; Brickell Breazeale; Benji and Henry Shaw, Ada Brooks, Eason, Collins, and Elsa Gray Forster.

Don was born in Grenada, MS on May 31, 1952 and spent his childhood in McComb and Jackson. He graduated from Murrah High School in 1970 and attended the University of Mississippi, where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and was a founder of KTB Wealth Partners enjoying a decades-long career helping people with their financial planning

Don is known for his love of and service to his family, friends, and First Presbyterian Church of Jackson, where he served first as a deacon and then as ruling elder. He also cherished his work on the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of Reformed Theological Seminary and the Jackson Academy Board of Trustees and he held most dear the grace of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He had a beautiful voice, drew people to him, and loved to make them laugh.

A memorial service was held at First Presbyterian Church Jackson at 11 am on Monday, November 16th. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church Jackson, Reformed Theological Seminary, or Jackson Academy. Parkway Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
