2019 Fall New Student Orientation
New Student Orientation for RTS Charlotte will be held on Monday, August 19 beginning at 11:30am. A special international student orientation will be held at 11:00am.
If you have not attended a fall orientation, you should plan on attending this.

Fall New Student Orientation is mandatory for all new RTS students, which includes anyone who begins classes on or after August 26, 2019. This orientation will take place on Wednesday, August 21 beginning at 7:45 am in the South Campus Classroom 1 in the Library. Following new student orientation, we will have our annual Fall Kick-off BBQ at Dr. Scott Redd’s house (a 10-minute drive from campus) at 12:30 p.m. This event is for staff, faculty, and new and current students. It is a family-friendly event, so plan to bring the whole family! RSVP for location and directions.

For New Students: While many of you have already arrived for summer courses, your RTS journey officially begins on August 27 with fall orientation. This day is designed to introduce you to life at RTS and will include introductions to staff and faculty members, information about important student policies and procedures, and much more. The lecture is followed by lunch at noon. The event is open to any interested students and guests. Both the lecture and lunch are free. Registration required.
