Job Description:

New Covenant Fellowship’s (PCA) Worship Director will provide directional leadership in the area of worship and arts ministries in order to equip God’s people to use God’s gifts for God’s glory to reflect the redemptive love of Christ in Mechanicsburg and beyond. 

 

• • Collaborate with pastor to craft Christ-centered, Scripturally-shaped, historically-rooted worship services.
  • Lead and oversee music team to support the liturgy, in such a way that NCF’s congregation is formed spiritually and also is winsome for guests; whether Christian, spiritually curious, agnostic, non-believing, or otherwise.
  • Recruit and schedule music team volunteers, prepare liturgy, music, and music team for weekly worship gatherings.
  • Recruit and schedule music team volunteers, prepare liturgy, music, and music team for special services within the church year and NCF’s life and ministry.
  • Provide contents for the bulletin and oversee a visual presentation in conjunction with the Sunday worship service. 
  • Oversee and assure maintenance and care of all equipment for this area of ministry as well as evaluate and suggest equipment needs for this area of ministry.
  • Perform other duties requested by leadership

  • Exhibits a healthy work-life balance and ability to maintain gospel renewal and vibrancy in everyday life.
  • Demonstrates a sensitive and caring heart for God’s people.
  • Actively participates in the church’s life and ministry and is committed to promoting its peace, purity and unity.
  • Strong vocal and instrumental talents; guitar and/or piano proficiency (required).
  • Strong musical leadership abilities with proven experience in organizing and directing worship in a local church setting. 
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred). 
  • A minimum of three years experience leading worship in a ministry setting (desired).
