Job Description:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES of the PASTOR:

• Preach the Word and plan/lead worship, including the serving of sacraments.
• Engage in pastoral service – i.e., weddings, funerals, visitation of the ill and isolated. Knowledgeable or willing to learn technology necessary to promote these duties.
• Partner with the Session to develop the staff and further the vision of the church.
• Represent the church at greater Presbytery and partner with religious and secular organizations within the community to further church and spiritual goals.
• Build church membership, as possible.

Position Qualifications:

 REQUIREMENTS:

College degree (preferred)

Master of Divinity (preferred)

Ordained/ordainable within the Evangelical Presbyterian Church

We are a rural church with approximately 70 active congregants located in PAULDING, OHIO (approximate population 3,500), located about an hour south of Toledo, 40 minutes east of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and an hour and a half north of Dayton. We are a diligent, conservative and dedicated congregation with many long-standing members. We will celebrate our 150th anniversary in 2025.
