Job Description:
Parkdale Community Church is prayerfully seeking a Full-Time pastor who will join us in nurturing gospel-centered faith, strengthening our church family, and leading us to reach out with courage and compassion to our surrounding community.
Position Qualifications:
– We are seeking a pastor who is ordained, or qualified to be received or ordained (including an M.Div.), in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC).
– Good relationship skills, interpersonal warmth, genuine, and works well with others.
– Organizational orientation.
– Effective preacher of the Word, in actions and verbally, spiritually alive.
– Able to be a good disciple-builder of all ages.
– Experience and maturity.
– Ability to train “old” leaders in new ways.
– To help us grow in ways we have allowed to slip.
– Honesty and transparency
– Enthusiasm and energy, with a positive outlook.
– Love of God, delight in His Word.
– Spirit-filled / Gospel-centered.
– Humble / Discerning.
– Prayerful (regular practice of spiritual disciplines)
– Prepared and communicative
– Spanish speaking is a plus (but not necessary)
