When we think about college recruiting, we think of it in terms of relationship building. As Admissions Recruiter, you have the important opportunity to first welcome and inform prospective students and their families, forming relationships through the process. Working cohesively with the Admissions team, you will help in meeting recruitment goals and creative strategizing with the Director of Enrollment Strategy.
Travel for the position may be up to 20-25%.
- Implement a communication plan to build relationships with prospective students and parents, applicants, and admitted candidates
- Welcome prospective students by processing application paperwork, arranging and leading campus tours, and conducting follow-up activities including writing letters and emails, and phone-call campaigns
- Assist with planning and executing admissions events like preview days, tours, school visits, and virtual events
- Develop and maintain relationships with Christian schools and churches
- Onboard admitted candidates to ensure enrollment
- Seek opportunities to enhance and personalize campus visits and other interactions with the Admissions team
- Maintain an understanding of RBC academic programs, policies, and procedures
- Represent RBC at recruiting opportunities such as conferences, college and Christian school fairs, high schools, homeschool co-ops, and virtual events
- Research potential avenues for recruitment or exhibitor space
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years college admissions recruiting experience
- Proven history of meeting sales or achievement goals
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines
- Flexibility with priority shifts
- A thorough understanding of and ability to explain Reformed theology
- Commitment to Reformed theology and affirmation of the Ligonier Ministries Core Statement of Faith
