These luncheons will all be held on campus at 1202 Dragon Street, Suite 104. Doors open at noon, and our speakers will begin promptly at 12:15.
August 25: Dr. Michael Allen
“Reformed Catholicity: From Fragmentation to Fullness”
Dr. Michael Allen joined the faculty of RTS Orlando in 2015 and serves as John Dyer Trimble Professor of Systematic Theology and Academic Dean. He teaches core courses related to systematic theology and historical theology.
Dr. Allen’s research interests range widely over the topics of Christian doctrine. His long-term writing project will be a four-volume systematic theology to be published with Baker Academic. He is currently writing the first volume, The Living and True God. With Dr. Scott Swain, he serves as general editor of the T & T Clark International Theological Commentary series and the New Studies in Dogmatics series for Zondervan Academic. He was book review editor for the International Journal of Systematic Theology.
September 19: Dr. Oren R. Martin
“The Fulfillment of the Old Testament Land Promises: Absent, Postponed, or Fulfilled?”
Dr. Oren R. Martin serves as a pastor at Watermark Community Church in Dallas, Texas, where he leads equipping, teaches in the Watermark Institute, and serves as theologian-in-residence. Previously, he served as associate professor of Christian theology at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the author of Bound for the Promised Land and co-author of 40 Questions About Biblical Theology.
October 5: Dr. G.K. Beale
“Marginal Theology: Doing Biblical Theology from the Margins of Our Bibles”
Dr. Gregory K. Beale is Professor of New Testament at RTS Dallas. He has had a long and distinguished academic career, teaching at Grove City College, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Wheaton Graduate School, and Westminster Theological Seminary. Before joining the RTS Dallas faculty in 2021, he served as Westminster’s J. Gresham Machen Chair and Research Professor of New Testament and Biblical Interpretation. He is a past president of the Evangelical Theological Society.
Dr. Beale is a native Texan and a graduate of Southern Methodist University (SMU), Dallas Theological Seminary, and Cambridge University.
November 17: Dr. David Gibson
“Not Losing Heart in Christian Ministry”
Dr. David Gibson is the minister of Trinity Church in Aberdeen, Scotland, where he lives with his wife, Angela, and four young children, Archie, Ella, Sam, and Lily. He is the author of Living Life Backward: How Ecclesiastes Teaches Us to Live in Light of the End (Crossway, 2017), and co-editor with his brother Jonathan of From Heaven He Came and Sought Her: Definite Atonement in Historical, Biblical, Theological, and Pastoral Perspective (Crossway, 2013).

Our guest lecturer will be introduced and give their planned presentation. If you are entering later than 12:15, please be mindful of our speakers.

We want to honor your time and will go no longer than 1:15 so that you can return back to work from your lunch break.
