Reformed Theological Seminary, Jackson is pleased to announce that Rev. Dr. Brandon Crowe, Associate Professor of New Testament at Westminster Theological Seminary, will be this year’s Biblical Theology Conference speaker. Dr. Crowe will be speaking on the topic “Acts, the Resurrection, and Biblical Theology.”  Dr. Crowe’s three conference lectures will focus on “The Resurrection in the Speeches of Acts,” “The Resurrection and the Scriptures in Acts,” and “The Resurrection and Salvation History in Acts.”

Dr. Crowe is an ordained teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), and also serves as book review editor for the Westminster Theological Journal.  After receiving his M-Div degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in 2007, Dr. Crowe went on to obtain his Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh in 2010.

Dr. Crowe’s academic interests include biblical theology, the Gospels (especially the Gospel of Matthew), the General Epistles, and the early church. His Ph.D. thesis at Edinburgh is entitled The Obedient Son: Deuteronomy and Christology in the Gospel of Matthew, and was published as part of Walter de Gruyter’s BZNW series.
